On January 1, 2010, where will you celebrate? It’s true that there are many delightful things to do here in Indiana, but you might also want to consider enjoying one of the greatest parades on the planet in warm, sunny Pasadena, California:

The Tournament of Roses Parade and New Year’s Extravaganza
December 29, 2009 – January 3, 2009 (6 days, 5 nights)

Guaranteed departure

The highlight among the many highlights of this tour is, of course, the Rose Parade. According to Wikipedia,

The Rose Parade is the “America’s New Year Celebration,” a festival of flowers, music, and equestrians on New Year’s Day. The annual parade was first held January 1, 1890, in Pasadena, California. Today, the Rose Parade is watched in person by hundreds of thousands of spectators on the parade route and is seen by millions more on television worldwide. After the parade, all the floats are on display for at least one and half days after the parade.

For 2010, the theme is “A Cut Above the Rest,” and all signs point toward a parade that will be a standout in the long history of this august event! According to the official website:

Interlude Tours: Luxury Travel to the Rose Parade from IndianapolisThe Rose Parade features three types of entries: floral floats entered by a participating corporation or community organization; equestrian units; and marching bands. The only cars that appear in the Rose Parade are those that carry the Grand Marshal, the Mayor of Pasadena, and the Tournament of Roses President. Many of the Rose Parade’s participating organizations have a long history with the Tournament of Roses and have made repeated appearances in the Parade.

At Interlude Tours, we always aim for a complete experience, so your tour not only includes seeing the parade itself from a reserved grandstand seat with a souvenir program and seat cushion but also includes a trip out to see the floats on display–up close and personal, as they say–on the following day!

Your tour also features…

  • The Glory of Christmas show at the Crystal Cathedral
  • Tour of Hollywood, California
  • Tour of the Getty Center
  • Ultimate New Year’s party with band, dancing, casino games, and fun galore!
  • Much more!
  • Truly much more, including two additional tours and many exquisite meals! Please see your event-packed itinerary for details.

This will indeed be one of the most fun-charged New Year’s Days you’ve ever experienced–yet it will also relax and rejuvenate you to the utmost. Why? Because on our escorted vacations we pamper you, take care of all the arrangements, and do all the driving so that you enjoy 0% fuss, 100% vacation!

In terms of vacation planning, the New Year’s Day is just around the corner, so please reserve your spots today! We welcome reservations from Indianapolis, where we are based, and any location in the United States and Canada.
