Takakkaw Falls is one of the amazing places you’ll see on this trip–and one of the great waterfalls of the world. According to Wikipedia,

Takakkaw Falls is a waterfall located in Yoho National Park, near Field, British Columbia, in Canada. Its highest point is 1,260 feet from its base, making it the second-highest officially measured waterfall in western Canada. “Takakkaw” is derived from the Cree word for “it is magnificent”. The falls are fed by the Daly Glacier which is part of the Waputik Icefield.

The official Parks Canada webpage about Yoho National Park says,

With a free-fall of 254 metres, Takakkaw Falls is one of the highest waterfalls in Canada.

Of course, this just one of the glories you’ll take in on this tour! It will truly be the trip of a lifetime, so why not give it a try? We welcome reservations from Indianapolis, where we are based, or from any location in the United States or Canada.
