The Newport Aquarium is one of the great aquariums of the United States. According to the Newport Aquarium official website,
Newport Aquarium showcases thousands of animals around the world in a million gallons of water. You’ll be amazed at all there is to see and do, including fun and interactive activities, like touching a shark or meeting penguins.
I hope the touchable sharks don’t bite too hard!

The aquarium has 70 exhibits and 14 galleries, including five seamless acrylic tunnels totaling over 200 feet in length. “Scooter” and “Sweet Pea” are two of the few shark rays in captivity and the only breeding pair on display in the world. In 2009, the Aquarium received a baby shark ray from Taiwan, named Sunshine.
