Interlude Tours: Fantastic Escorted Day Trips from Indianapolis

Coach driver Tom Gary greets clients going on Interlude Tours' luxury day trip.

On December 19, 2009, I experienced my first escorted day trip with Interlude Tours–and it was fantastic! In addition to seeing a great show (The Addams Family musical) at a great theater (Oriental Theater), I got to talk to many great clients!

Clients described Interlude Tours as a company that shows it cares by following up after tours. They love the wide variety of tours that Interlude offers and appreciate the value the tours provide. Many of the people I talked to have gone on more than one tour with Interlude.

This was also my first luxury motor coach tour with Interlude. I was impressed with how quick the ride from Indy to Chicago went. The weather outside was far from great, and had I driven myself it would have been a stressful, tiring drive. Not so in the coach! We got to Chicago in excellent time, chatting with each other. On the way back we watched Julie & Julia (great flick!) and had a superb sandwich dinner from Lawry’s. Wine was enjoyed in moderation as well!

Some of us went to Petterino’s restaurant for lunch. This was not included in the trip, but it’s an option for lunch on some of our Chicago day trips. Highly recommended! I had the Crab Louis Salad–delicious. Here’s the menu.

On board the luxury coach of Interlude Tours.

Hats off to our great driver, Tom Gary, who made driving a huge coach in snowy weather seem easy. He’s a real pro.

Hats off also to Interlude President Jo Ann Carr, who planned the trip with both precision and an excellent sense of fun. It’s no exaggeration to say “a good time was had by all”!

Interlude has a wonderful selection of day, weekend, and short trips planned for 2010 (click hereand here). I heard several clients say they intended to go on multiple day trips with us–they’re just such a great value! In particular, the Billy Elliot trip is bound to fill up fast (we’ve already sold one day out completely!).

I look forward to my next day trip with Interlude. If you’ve not traveled with us before, why not give it a try?
